Details: Winston's Wish is an outstanding and well-established national charity based in Gloucestershire, West Sussex and the North West providing support to children who have been bereaved. We have a strong belief in preventative, community based services that promote resilience in young people.

Would you like to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with bereaved children and their families in a ground-breaking organisation?

We are now recruiting for a Senior Practitioner (maternity cover) for our office in Cheltenham.

Senior Practitioner (salary c£28k depending on experience)

You will have a clinical/therapeutic qualification as a psychologist, psychotherapist, family therapist or counsellor.

We also welcome applicants with previous experience of working in bereavement/palliative care. Previous experience of childhood bereavement is desirable; however we are more interested in relevant professional experience in, and a commitment to, working with children and families.

You should be enthusiastic about working as part of a dynamic and creative team and you will have excellent interpersonal skills, especially in communicating with children.

You will have experience in:

* Working with children and families
* Facilitating groups
* Managing a caseload
* Supporting bereaved children (desirable)
